Mary Nell Marcantel Granger, born April 5, 1947, daughter of the late Hadley and Allie (Ardoin) Marcantel, passed away in her residence Friday, April 29, 2022 at the age of 75.
Mary Nell was a homemaker and delighted in being with family. She enjoyed quilting, and sewing.
Survivors include her daughter, Joella “Jo” Chadwick (Bradley); sons, Robert Granger; David Granger (Laura); Benny Granger; sister, Theresa Marcantel Seymour (Willie); brother, Thomas Marcantel (Elaine); 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry Granger; grandson, Nathan Robert Granger, and brother, Chester Marcantel.
Funeral services are Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 10 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Burial will follow in Broussard Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins Monday in the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. and will resume Tuesday from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m.
