Lake Charles – Mary Baker, 85, passed away in her residence Monday, July 10, 2017.
Mary was born in Lake Charles on October 16, 1931 to the late Anton and Hazel (Grubbs) Kjerulff. She enjoyed playing bingo, dressing up, reading her bible and loved the Lord. Mary worked for the USDA, Naval Supply Center, IRS and as a riveter on planes during World War II.
She is survived by her children, Gregory Scott Baker, Denise Rene Baker; brother, Edward James Kjerulff (Doris); 3 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held in Tower Oaks Community Room ~ Lake Charles on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Charles Huddleston and Skip Peterson officiating. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home.
