Mary "Peaches" Benoit

Mary "Peaches" Louise Benoit, 77, of Sulphur passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. She was a hairdresser for 20 years serving the Westlake area. Peaches was known for being a second generation owner of B & O Kitchen. She loved spending time with her family, traveling with her granddaughters to dance competitions, or just being with her great grandkids. When not hanging out with her grandkids, her favorite hobby was going to Coushatta Casino. 

Those left to cherish the memory of Peaches is her daughters, Amy Young (Kevin), Jodi Simmons (AJ); stepson, Jeff Benoit (Becky); loving doggy, Hannah; grandchildren, Devin Young (Savannah), Courtney Young, Alisha Dowling (Robert), Heidi Dowling (Caleb), Courtney Israel (Allen), Michael Benoit; eleven great grandchildren; 3 great grand dogs. Peaches is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Benoit; her parents, Dolza and Ida Borel; brothers, Put, Buddy, Gerald, Ronnie; sister, Linda; granddaughter, Shaylee; stepson, Mike; inlaws, J. A. and Corita Benoit.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Heart of Hospice for their care and support during these trying times. A special thanks to her niece, Wendy Guidry. 

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur.
