Bethany Walsh

Mary Bethany Walsh, 69, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 25th, 2026.

Bethany is survived by her sister, Louise Walsh; brother, Al Walsh and his wife Amy; niece, Ashley Shempert and her husband Donnie; and two great nieces, Tamrah and Autumn; nephew, Al Walsh, IV and his wife Melinda; nephew, Matt Smith; two great nephews, Tobin and Evan; one great niece ,Lauren; and her beloved dog, Jack.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Walsh, Jr and wife Joan, and beloved niece, Allison Walsh Smith.

Bethany worked for 20 years in the Medical Field and then worked for 18 years at Lake Charles Target.

Her hobbies were cross stitching, watching sports and cheering on Chicago Bulls, Atlanta Braves, LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints.

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and loved participating in ladies Bible studies.

Services will be at Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles on Friday, January 30 at 2:00pm, with visitation at 1:00pm.
