Maude Jobe

Maude Jobe, 89, of Lake Charles, LA died Thursday, December 11, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Maude Jobe was born on September 29, 1925 in Dry Creek, LA to Monte and Bertie Cooper. Maude loved being around family and friends. She also loved to read, cook, and visit her grandchildren. She is survived by two children, Mark Steffens and wife Sandy of Lake Charles, LA and Beverly Waggoner of Lake Charles, LA; four grandchildren, Hollie Donnally and husband Trevor of Lake Charles, LA, Sara Walters and husband Jeremy of Lake Charles, LA, Jess King and wife Arianne of Heber, Utah and Laura Cross and husband Steve of Sulphur, LA; and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and two loving husbands, Roger Steffens and Joseph Jobe. Services will at 1:00 PM Monday, December 15, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM Monday, December 15, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Dry Creek Cemetery. Rev Charlie Langford will officiate services.
