Maximus Dean Leger

Maximus Dean Leger came triumphantly into this world on October 8, 2017 at 7:16 AM. Born premature, he was small, but very mighty. Max grew strong and stayed in the NICU for 32 days before he came home with his Daddy, Mommy, and two siblings. He got to enjoy and be surrounded by the love of his family for one week before he was taken from us far too soon on November 16.

He is survived by his father, Robert Wesley Leger, his mother Rea Rose Strickland, big sister Lillian and big brother Axton. Maximus also has a very large family of grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him forever. Baby Max was loved every second of his time here on Earth. He was the “perfect” baby and never cried. He loved listening to music his Daddy played for him and being cuddled. The memory of our Mighty Max will be cherished forever in our hearts.

“I’ll like you forever, I’ll love you for always, as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be.”

A celebration of his life will be held on November 19, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles.
