Megan Marie Meier

Although we seem so far apart,

You're always here within our hearts.

You filled our lives with joy and pleasure

You were to us a precious treasure.

Megan Marie Meier, 9 month old daughter of Tammy and Stephan Meier of Moss Bluff, died on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in a Houston children's hospital.

Megan was born on June 23, 2011 in Lake Charles, LA.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents; grandparents, Donna and Terry Manuel of Lake Charles and Rae and Ken Meier of Moss Bluff; a great grandmother, WyNema Clark McFatter of Longville; aunts and uncles, Katie and Kevin Fuselier of Austin, Debbie and Craig Meier of Georgia, and Kim and Scott Meier of Minnesota; and numerous great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 14, 2012 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Charles Miller will officiate. Burial will be in New Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff. Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
