Melissa Mcginnis

Melissa McGinnis, 46, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 in a local hospital.

She was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother. She loved music, animals, gathering with friends, watching the New Orleans Saints and riding motorcycles. She was a long-time employee of the state of Louisiana.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Alexis Williams and Devyn McGinnis; grandchild, Ayden Williams; and mother, Valery Lowin.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Lopez.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
