Michael Anthony Watson

Michael Anthony Watson, 60, of Sulphur passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021, in a Sulphur, La. hospital.

He was a native of DeRidder, La and lived in Sulphur for the past thirty-six years. Mr. Watson worked in the Construction Industry for 40 yrs. as a heavy equipment operator, iron worker, and rigger.

He is survived by his wife, Carla Watson of Sulphur; two daughters, Cassie Toten and husband Billy of Many, La and Lacie Wright and husband Jerry of Lake Charles, LA; one son, Shawn Watson and Brittany Ardoin of Moss Bluff; eight grandchildren, Keagan, Kyra, Jacey, Malachi, Dominic, Kruz, Kalani, and Sophia; one brother, Paul Watson and wife Brandy of Lake Charles, LA. He is preceded in death by his Granny, Hazel Ashworth; Parents Charles and Rachel Watson and a brother, Ricky Watson.

His funeral service will be Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at 2:00 PM in the Johnson and Robison Chapel. Pastor Jeremy of Christian World will officiate. Graveside services will be in John C. White Cemetery in the Providence Community near Leesville, La. at 5:00 PM.  Visitation will be Monday, August 16, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and continue Tuesday August 17, 2021, from 9:00 AM until time of service.
