Moss Bluff –Michael “Mike” Dwayne Gorham, born July 16, 1982, son of Jimmie and Lucille Henry Gorham, passed away August 12, 2018, at the age of 36.
Mike was a graduate of Sam Houston High School, Class of 2001 and attended Northwestern. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Moss Bluff. His passion was music, hunting, fishing and the LSU Tigers.
Mike is survived by his parents, Jimmie & Lucille Gorham; siblings, Susan Bullard (Bobby), Stephanie Turner and Matt Gorham (Carrie), all of Moss Bluff; step-grandfather, Orford Breaux; 6 nephews, Stone, Brett, Gabriel, Kyle, Glen & Noah; 4 nieces, Jade, Lauren, Katelyn & Maritza; numerous aunts, uncles and friends who will cherish his memory.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom Henry & Lucille Breaux and Mathew “Dub” & Lou Gorham.
Funeral services are Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 11 a.m. in First Baptist Church of Moss Bluff with Rev. Jack Tillery officiating. Burial will follow in New Ritchie Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins Tuesday from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. and will resume Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. in the church.
