Michael Chase Fontenot

Cameron- Michael Chase Fontenot, 30, departed this life on Thursday, March 5, 2015.
Chase was born in Lake Charles on January 3, 1985 to Michael Roy Fontenot and the late Crystal Grout Lewis. He loved life and never met a stranger. Chase was the life of the party and had a great soul.
Left to cherish his memory are his father and step-mother, Michael Fontenot (Chrystal) of Lake Charles; sister, Courtney Haley (Doug) of Sulphur; grandmother, Lana Grout of Iowa; niece, Carsyn Haley and aunts and uncles, Tracy Winfrey (Richard) of Iowa, Kathleen Dupin (Ted) of Lake Charles, Brenda Fontenot of Lake Charles. Preceding him in death are his mother and grandfather, Walter Chase Grout and uncle, Billy Fontenot.
Funeral services will be in Johnson &Brown Funeral Home on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Father Bennie Wego officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday in the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. and will resume Thursday from 8 a.m. until the time of service.
