Michael (Mike) Lorne Chehotsky died on March 5, 2013 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Lake Charles on January 26, 1964. He was a lifelong auto mechanic and worked at many dealerships and automotive repair shops. He was one of the hardest working and kindest persons you could ever meet. He was always willing to help his family and friends whenever he was needed. He enjoyed barbequing and cooking when he could. His family and many friends will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Chehotsky; his grandparents, Louis and Bertha Piboin, Marcin and Catherine Cichocki; his aunts, Dorothy Stacey, Doris Duncan, Sophie Meka, Jay Dulski, and Mary Blodnicker; uncles, Peter Meka, Lamar Piboin, Jim Dulski, Paul Duncan, Pat Dulski, Truman Stacey and John Chehotsky; and cousins, Darlene Lee and Jimmy Dulski.
He is survived by his mother, Bettye Piboin Chehotsky; his brothers, Marty Chehotsky and wife Nancy, Darryl Chehotsky, Stan Chehotsky and wife Charlotte; aunt, Helen Matuska; cousins, Tina Guidry, Joan Meka, Gloria Dulski, Rick Dulski, Bert Piboin, Louie Piboin, Pam Beasley, Lorraine Dulski, Cheryl Horst; and many others. His pet dog Daisy will especially miss him.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 8, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Monsignor James Gaddy will officiate. Mike requested he be cremated.
