Lake Charles ~ Michael Ray Trahan, born October 8, 1957, son of the late Alvin John Trahan and Ethel Mae Higginbotham, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018, at the age of 60.
Mike was a graduate of LaGrange High School and enjoyed fishing, cruising the coast and woodworking.
Survivors are his wife of 29 years, Kitty Trahan, sons, Michael Sheridan (Becky), Joseph Daniel Doucet, Russell Joseph Doucet; siblings, Eugene Joseph Trahan, Charles Trahan (Martha), Deborah Bellard (Ricky), Carolyn Trahan, Ruth Vaussine (Calvin), Vickie Thomas (Cary); 4 grandchildren, Brookleigh, Brennan, Russell & Jaiden and his beloved dogs, T-Boy & Bentley. Mike is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services are Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 2 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa, with Father Roland Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation is Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m.
