Mildred Kershaw

Mildred Hicks Kershaw, 84, of Sulphur, passed on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.  Mildred was a Texas native and a long time resident of Sulphur.  She was the family matriarch who took pride in taking care of her family.  She will be remembered for her commitment to her family and her “heart of gold”. 

Mildred is survived by her son, Charles Odell Hicks of Sulphur and daughter, Bobbye Hicks of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Carolyn Hicks, Michael Hicks and Jeremy Hicks all of Sulphur, Thomas Hicks of Biddford, Maine, Joseph Dane Felton of Westlake and Courtney Chesson of Moss Bluff; and numerous great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Kershaw; sons, Tommy Hicks and Jack Hicks; infant daughter, Deborah; one brother and two sisters. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 2:30 PM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 9 A.M. until the time of service at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
