Iowa – Mildred Lee, loving mother and grandmother, 89, passed away in a local care facility surrounded by her loving family Thursday, July 06, 2017.
Mildred was born in Rayne on October 18, 1927, the daughter of the late Volcar and Rosalie (Richard) Arsement, Jr. She loved making ceramics and painting them with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Julius (Rick) Lee (Evelyn), Connie Followay (Jack), Denise Savant (Ken); siblings, Nick Arsement (Joyce), Mae Joyce Strahan, Raymond Arsement (Karen); 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Julius (Rut) C. Lee, her parents and 3 siblings.
Funeral services are Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home with Bro Alan Weishampel officiating. Burial will follow in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday in the funeral home from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and will resume on Sunday from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 2:30 p.m.
