Mildred Moody Guillory

Mildred Inez Moody Guillory, 93, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015, in her residence.

Mildred was born in LeBlanc, Louisiana and lived a faithful life of service to her family and to her Heavenly Father. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Byron and Daisey Gilley Moody; her husband of 58 years, Edward Guillory; and her brother, Clyde Moody.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her six children, Eddy Guillory and his wife Fay, Charles Guillory and his wife Marveline, Dennis Guillory and his wife Carla, John Guillory, Alan Guillory and his wife Kristen, Nancy Guillory Collett and her husband Glen; 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; nine great, great grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Moody Long and her children. Last but not least, Mildred is survived by her loving companion who was always at her side, her dog Daisy.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015, at First Baptist Church of Gillis under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Reverend Glenn George will officiate. Interment will be at LeBlanc Cemetery in LeBlanc. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until service time.
