Nadie Carpenter Moran

Nadie Virginia Carpenter Moran, 88, of Lake Charles passed away at 9:35 PM, Monday, March 21, 2011 in her residence.

She was a native of Lafayette and lived in Lake Charles for the past forty-two years.

Survivors include her daughters, Judie Mouton and husband Jim of Magnolia, TX; Faye Knight and Yvonne "Zowie" Clarke both of Lafayette, LA; eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Troy Moran.

Her funeral will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 24, 2011 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Paul Estes will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service, Thursday, in the funeral home.
