Lake Charles – Dr. Neil S. Rogers DC, 80, of Lake Charles, passed away on January 13, 2018
surrounded by his loving family. In keeping with Neil’s wishes, there will be no viewing or funeral. He has chosen to be cremated under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home.
As a loving, caring father, he will be greatly missed.
Born in Fenton, LA on December 8, 1937 to Jonathan Neil and Mabel Rogers, Neil was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He was a graduate of LaGrange High School, McNeese State University and Palmer College of Chiropractic. He retired after 55 years of practice.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Maria Harless and husband, Ted of Lake Charles, Sean Rogers Miguez of Lake Charles, Neil J. Rogers and wife, Darlene of Bartow, Florida, Barry Rogers and wife, Michelle of Lake Charles; sister, Annette Harlow of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Amanda Welch and husband, Eric, Allie Habetz and husband, Garrett, Audrey, Alex, Anna Mae and Jacob Rogers, Taylor Crews and husband, Jared, Savannah Williamson, Ted Patrick Harless and wife, Adrienne, Jonathan Harless and wife, Haleigh, David Miguez and Kaitlyn LeBleu and great-grandchildren: Katherine Harless, Ava-Marie Miguez, Dani Welch, Barrett Welch, Carter LeBaron, and Coy Habetz.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jonathan Neil and Mabel Modess (Broussard) Rogers.
