Nelda Joan Hebert Boese

Nelda Joan Hebert Boese, born February 15, 1940, daughter of the late Joseph and Opal Romine Hebert, passed away peacefully in her home on October 12, 2022, at age 82.
Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 2 p.m. in Prien Memorial Park under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Delmar Hebert, Edna Myers Skipper, and Lowell Hebert.
Nelda is survived by her daughters, Carrie Nichols and husband, Kenny, and Christy Henderson and husband, Ken; granddaughter, Tara Leeds and husband, Shelby; great-grandchildren, Howard & Noelle Leeds.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Methodist Children’s Home of Southwest Louisiana, 3029 North Beglis Parkway, Sulphur, LA 70663, or University United Methodist Church Choir, 3501 Patrick Street, Lake Charles, LA 70605.
