Nelson A. Hoffpauir, 66, of Noble, LA (Formerly of Hayes, LA) passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in a care facility.
Nelson was born July 17, 1949 to the late Nelson and Celeste Authement Hoffpauir. He worked for Farmers Rice Mill and Sweet Lake Land & Oil. Nelson loved Cajun cooking, bingo and hunting.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Ramona of Noble, LA; children, Travis Hoffpauir (Veronica) of Lake Arthur, Elizabeth Marcantel of Reeves, LA and Bridget Roberson (Blake) of Noble, LA; siblings, Chris Hoffpauir (Jamie) of Hayes, Mitchell Hoffpauir (Dayna) of Hayes, Barbara Pitre (Donald) of Jennings and Patricia Ray (Bruce) of Zwolle. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. His parents, son, Warren Hoffpauir and brother, Thomas Authement preceded him in death.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and continues Saturday from 8 a.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with expenses.
