Called to heaven to sing among the angels. With heavy hearts, the family of Neva Yvonne Smith announces her death on Thursday, May 12, 2011.
Born to Alfred and Ethelene Tullos Esters on April 13, 1926. She was 85 years old.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Rebecca Ann Breaux (Brian), Vicki Reyna O'Quinn, and Jenny Lea Esthay (Wilbert).
Entrusted to carry on her goodness and kindness are grandchildren; Amanda Matte, Lucas and Leah Breaux, Ashleigh Anderson, April O'Quinn, Jill Richardson, Jason Esthay, and Collette Dubose; 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bruce Smith.
Private family services were held at Johnson Funeral Home on Thursday, May 19, 2011.
