Lake Charles – Niclas Rolf Johansson, 46, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 in Lafayette, LA.
Niclas "Nibbe" Rolf Johansson came to the United States from his beloved homeland of Sweden to live free. Born September 7, 1970 in Malmo, Sweden to Maj-Britt and Ebbe Johansson, Nic lived life like so many only dream to do.
He was compassionate and uncompromising, qualities which endeared him in the hearts of many. Those whose lives were graced by Nic gained a deeper understanding of love, pride and loyalty.
He is survived by his mother; sister Therese Liljekvist and son Jonas Weinitz, as well as by a legion of broken hearts. Lifelong friend Tommy Qvick will carry him home to Sweden.
Friends are invited to gather at Johnson-Brown funeral home in Iowa on Saturday, April 8 at 1:00 pm to remember and celebrate the tremendous life of this beloved man.
