Niki Anne Martin

Niki Anne Martin, born in Lafayette, Louisiana on October 21, 1957, daughter of Don P. Bourgeois and Mary “Anne” Bourgeois, passed through this world and entered into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at the age of 64.
Niki was a dedicated business owner and accountant since January of 1991. She had a passion for animals and a genuine kindness for all life. She had a deep love for her family and friends that showed no bounds. She enjoyed showing her wits through games, puzzles and reading. She was a faithful follower of Jesus, and driven by this strong faith through the end of her life.
She is preceded in death by her father, Don P. Bourgeois.
Niki is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Joseph David Martin of Iowa, Louisiana; mother, Mary “Anne” Bourgeois of Lafayette, Louisiana; children, Michelle Leigh McReynolds (Collis) of Orange, Texas, and Shane Paul Duplechain (Christy) of Sulphur, Louisiana, and step-son, Chad Martin (Hope) of White Haven, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Ty Austin Duplechain, and Mason Dean McReynolds.
Memorial services will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 1 p.m. A gathering of friends of family will begin in the funeral home at 12 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
