Lake Charles – Olive Dale Marie Bertrand Domingue, born in Basile, LA on December 2, 1934, daughter of the late Amaduce and Marie (Marcantel) Bertrand, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018, at the age of 84.
Olive was a member of VFW and CFMA. She was of the Catholic faith. Olive enjoyed playing Pokeno, Booray, cooking and baking for her family and friends.
Olive is survived by her husband of 65 years, Garland Domingue; daughter, Christine LaCombe and husband Johnny; grandchildren, Michaela Dawn Courts, Johnnie David LaCombe, Eric Matthew LaCombe, Jacob Adam LaCombe; 8 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Amedia Mott; brothers, Elrey and Lee Bertrand.
Visitation will begin Monday, December 10, 2018 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the visitation under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home – Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
