Bell City – Ouida Mae Guillory, loving wife, mother and grandmother, 76, passed away in a local hospital surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, July 04, 2017.
Born in Kaplan on December 22, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Luah and Ales (Laviolette) Guidry. She attended St. John Vianney and loved tending to her flower garden. And the company of her beloved dog, Cricket.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Arlen Guillory; children, Darlene Constance (Craig) of Hackberry and Darren Guillory (Charlotte) of Iowa; brothers, Leo Guidry, Paul Roy Guidry, George Guidry (Alice) and Rodney Guidry; grandchildren, Samantha, Calli (Jeremy), Brice & Jenna Guillory, Lynn Russell (Jake) and Emily Constance; great-grandchildren, Jace Russell & Randy Richard; daughter-in-law, Milly Guillory and numerous nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Arnold James & Randy Lee Guillory; siblings, Ivan & Joseph D. Guillory, Willie Mary Holland and Irene Miller.
Funeral services are Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 10 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home ~ Iowa with Father Roland Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Lorrain DeRouen Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday in the funeral home from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m., with a rosary at 6:30 p.m.
