Pamela Kallsen

On June 22, 2018, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, our beloved sister, daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother Pamela Sue Kallsen slipped the surly bonds of Earth to enter eternal peace and rest with our Heavenly Father.

Pam was born April 23, 1958 in Springfield, Missouri. She enjoyed the outdoors and camping and fishing with her husband and family. Pam will be missed very much by her beloved family and children.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, who she met on April 24, 1987 and married on September 28, 1994, John Louis Kallsen, daughters Kristin Knox Paradis of Edmond, OK and Cheyenne Kallsen of Lake Charles, son Jeffery Knox and wife Callie of Cypress, TX, stepsons Dallas Kallsen and Tanner Kallsen of Houston, TX, her mother Vivian Guillory and stepfather Sam Guillory of Lake Charles, sisters Michelle Guillory and husband Eddie of Dequincy and Debbie Moore of Lake Charles, brother Michael Parent and wife Sadie of Lake Charles, grandchildren Jay, Emma, Aiden, Bella, Aleya, Kaiden, Brynn, Mason, Addison, Orion, and Atticus.

She is preceded in death by one sister Sharon Parent, father Mickey Anthony Parent, grandparents Beverly and Pauline Parent and Charles and Adeline Lehmer.

A funeral will be held at Johnson Funeral Home at 11AM on Monday, June 25, 2018. Cremation will follow the service and a private inurnment will be held at Consolata Cemetery. Rev. Kelly Vigo will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5PM to 8PM, Sunday, June 24. Visitation will continue Monday morning at the funeral home from 10AM until the start of the service.

Pam you have run the long race, you have fought the impossible fight. Now enjoy your reward in Heaven until we meet again.

The family wishes to express words of thanks to Heart of Hospice for the care given to Pam in her final days.

The family also request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
