Patricia Ann "Pat" Mcbride

Patricia Ann “Pat” McBride, 74, of Lake Charles passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 in a Shreveport hospital.

Mrs. McBride was born on December 12, 1942 in Kaplan, LA. She followed her husband as a Navy wife, having been stationed in several locations throughout their life until he retired and the family moved back to Lake Charles in 1975. She attended St. Margaret Catholic Church.

She enjoyed playing bingo and will be remembered for her excellent cooking skills. She cherished her time spent with her family and took pride in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 58 years, Charles Tommy McBride; five children, Keith McBride (Debi) of Youngsville, LA, Craig McBride (Angie) of Westlake, Lori McBride (Eddie Jolie) of Lake Charles, Kimberly Foster (Kevin) of Lake Charles, and Jason McBride (Jill) of Westlake; three siblings, Mary Snatic (Harry) of Alberta, Canada, Melvin Guidry (Dorothy) of Lake Charles, and Judy Vincent (Robert) of Grandlake; 18 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and Theophile Guidry; in-laws, Leora and Thomas McBride; and a grandson, Brent Sepulvado.

A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at St. Margaret Catholic Church. The Rev. Vijaya Peddoju will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday from 8:00 AM until leaving for the church at 11:30 AM.

The pallbearers will be her grandsons.
