Iowa- Patricia A. Boylan, 72, passed away in a local care facility January 16, 2015.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation is Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Cremation was under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
She is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Boylan; daughters, Carla Morin (Gilles), Diane Murray (Mickey) and Sandi Deskavich (Dave); step-son, Tim Boylan; siblings, C. D. Walters and Catherine “Cathy” Gibbs; 4 grandchildren, Lauren, Jaron, Emilyn and Devin; 2 step-grandchildren; Stephen and Holly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifton D. and Annie Mae (Jones) Walters; first husband, Forrest Hawkins.
She was a graduate of Marion High School and attended McNeese State University. A member of the Iowa Garden Club and First United Methodist Church, she enjoyed doing for others. Her family will miss her excellent cooking. She was able to travel all over the world due to her role as a military wife. She had a green thumb and loved to spend time in her garden.
