Patricia "Pat" Jordan Cart

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia “Pat” Jordan Cart, who left this world on August 23, 2025, at the age of 82. Patricia was born on March 16, 1943, in Olean, NY. She moved to Lake Charles, LA, at the age of 18 where she built a life full of love and warmth. 

Pat touched the lives of those around her with her kindness and unwavering support. As a dedicated data processor in the banking industry, she exemplified diligence and perseverance throughout her career, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues. 

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Henry Cart, sons; Dean Cart and his wife Deidra, Greg Cart and his wife Rebecca, two grandchildren, Blake Cart and Jennifer Elbert and her husband Charles and one brother Gary Kramer of Norfolk, Virginia. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Jim, three sisters; Doris and Joyce of Olean, NY and Marie of Central Florida. 

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00pm at Johnson Funeral Home, located at 4325 Lake Street, Lake Charles, LA 70605. This gathering will be a time for family and friends to come together, share memories, and celebrate her beautiful life.
