Patricia Heimbach

Patricia Ann Heimbach, 78, of Lake Charles, La died Sunday, February 14, 2016 in her residence.

Patricia was born on November 25, 1937 in Lake Charles, LA to Clifford and Eleanor Trouard. Patricia was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, LA and enjoyed being around family and friends. She loved cooking, reading, and watching jeopardy. Patricia retired from the Calcasieu Parish School Board after 31 years of teaching 7th and 8th grade at S.J. Welsh Middle School. She was Valedictorian Class of 1956 at Marion High School. Patricia then went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Education at McNeese State University.

She is survived by her three children, Michael “Mike” Heimbach and wife Connie of Bridge City, TX, Phillip Heimbach of Lake Charles, LA and Victoria Ann Heimbach of San Marcos, TX; one sister, Betty Jean Doescher and husband Herman of Lake Charles, LA; two grandchildren, Ross Gilley and Colin Nunez and wife Brittany; one great granddaughter, Hannah Nunez; two nieces, Ellen Brown and Melanie Fricke and husband Erin; and three nephews, Austin Brown, Mason and Cutler Fricke.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Joseph Trouard and Eleanor Duplantis.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a 6:00 PM rosary Friday, February 19, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM Saturday until time of services. Burial will be at Prien Memorial Park. Deacon George Carr will officiate services.
