Ragley – Patricia Allie (Myers) Ussery, born in Kosciusko, MS on October 9, 1946, daughter of the late Hillary C. Myers and Mable Shaw Myers, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018, at the age of 71.
Patricia was a graduate of Greenwood High School in Mississippi and Mississippi College of Nursing. She worked for many years as a nurse for Greenwood Leflore Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. Patricia enjoyed gardening, reading, her cats, Calico & Precious and spending time with her grandchildren.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wayne Ussery of Ragley; son, Randy Ussery and wife, Renee of Ragley; sister, Clara Blanchard (Jimmy Kitchell); 2 grandchildren, Chris Ussery (Amber) and Nikki Shockley (Landon); 3 great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Avery & Baylor. She is preceded in death by her parents.
As per her wishes, she has been cremated under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 in Elk’s Lodge, Greenwood, MS, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
