Welsh – Patsie Lee Owens, born November 7, 1937, daughter of the late Walter Lee and Malvina Mary (Melancon) Owens, passed away Tuesday, January 07, 2020, in a local care facility, at the age of 82.
Patsie was a graduate of Istrouma High School in Baton Rouge. She worked in advertising as a sales executive and enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors are her daughters, Kim Leger (Lawrence) of Lafayette; Dianna “DeDe” Scroggins (Jerome) of Iowa; Tommie Lynn Moreau of San Francisco, CA; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Samantha Moreau and siblings.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 in Golden Age of Welsh, at 2 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
