Patsy Mcdaniel

Ms. Patsy Ruth McDaniel, 70, passed away at her loving son’s home on December 27, 2016.

Ms. McDaniel was born here in Lake Charles and spent her entire life in the area. Her family fondly remembers her as a selfless lady that would do anything for her family that she so dearly loved.

She leaves behind to cherish her name her daughter, Debbie Quibideaux of Moss Bluff; four sons, James Franklin of DeQuincy, Danny Franklin of Carlyss, Ricky Franklin of Moss Bluff, and Kelvin Franklin of Ragley; sister, Gala Sue Hebert of Ragley; five brothers, Raymond Richard of Moss Bluff, Jimmy Richard of Sulphur, Ronnie Richard of Sulphur, Jerry Richard of Moss Bluff, and Randy Richard of Sulphur; eighteen grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond and Dorothy Richard; and her brother, David Richard.

A funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 10 am. Burial will follow at the Old Ritchie Cemetery. Rev. Rob Stevens will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 pm to 9 pm on Thursday evening.
