Patty Maffit

Patty Maffit, 88, passed away in a local hospital on Monday, November 26, 2018.

She was born on March 23, 1930 in Lake Arthur, LA to Robert and Fanny Smith Lyons.

She worked at the St. Patrick Hospital gift shop for 20 years and enjoyed playing the piano and the organ. She also loved sewing and flowers. She attended the First Church of Christ in Jennings.

She is survived by her children, Daniel Lee Maffit of Jennings and Diane Robinson (Don) of Westlake; grandchildren, Jon, Christopher, Leslie, Jean and Patty; four great grandchildren; brother, Carol Lyons; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Maffit; parents; and four brothers.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
