Paul Gary Baronet, 77, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Paul was born on April 6, 1948, in Jennings, Louisiana, to Rosebud and Wilson Baronet.

Paul proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1968-1972 during which time was also deployed to Vietnam. He retired from CITGO after more than 35 years of dedicated service.

Paul loved fishing and hunting, especially dove hunting in Mississippi with his siblings. He was an amazing cook and was especially talented with the smoker his son built for him. A devoted LSU fan, Paul rarely missed watching their football games. He also enjoyed traveling back roads and discovering new places along the way.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Deborah Kaye White Baronet; his sons, Troy Baronet (Yana), Bryan Baronet (Shana), and Brad Baronet (Kristina); his stepsons, Darren Cruz (Haley) and Benjamin Cruz (Shawn); his siblings, David Baronet (Becky), Bill Baronet (Christine), Kathy Clark (Robert “Bubba”), and Margo Oglesby (Mike); along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosebud and Wilson Baronet; his brother, Cecil Baronet; and his nephew, Chetney.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service. Paul will be laid to rest at Consolata Cemetery.
