Paul Bennet Fontenot

Paul Bennet Fontenot, 54, of Moss Bluff died at 10:50 PM on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in his residence.

Mr. Fontenot was born on May 20, 1957 in Mamou, LA and lived in the Lake Charles area for the past 8 years. He took pride in his Cajun culture and loved everything about being a Cajun. Mr. Fontenot enjoyed cooking but most of all, he adored his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Donna Fontenot of Moss Bluff; a daughter, Heather Fontenot and a son, Coby Paul Fontenot both of Lake Charles; a step daughter, Hannah Courtney of Lake Charles; a step son, Joey Courtney of Hayes; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Shae-Shae Fontenot and his mother, Love Fontenot.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 20, 2012 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain Willie Bellard will officiate. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Friday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
