Paul Allen Benoit

Paul Allen Benoit, born in Lake Charles on July 7, 1947, son of the late Guy and Edna Benoit, passed away at home, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the age of 76.
Paul served in the U. S. Army and was stationed Nuremburg, Germany. He was a trucker for Enterprises Transportation. He and his wife, JoeAnn, were members of Victory Worship Center in Sulphur.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, sports, especially the New Orlean Saints, and the LSU Tigers. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Linda Gary, Patsy Timmons, Freda Cunningham, Norris Benoit, Robert Benoit, and Belinda Benoit.
Paul is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, JoeAnn Benoit; daughters, Paula Jagneaux (Ricky), and Tracy Krovvidi (Prasad); sisters, Judy Wilkinson, Stella Broussard, and Jackie Holland; grandchildren, Meaghan Benoit, Ethan Jagneaux, Caleb Jagneaux, Anjali Krovvidi, and Marlei Holt. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 2 p.m. Rev. Larry Lafleur officiating. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins in the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m.
