Paul Anthony Hill of Lake Charles passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 60.
Paul was known for his love of fishing, drinking a cold beer, and barbecuing-three of his favorite things. He adored his family and cherished every opportunity to spend time with them. His love for life was contagious, and he brought energy and laughter wherever he went.
In his early years, Paul proudly served in the United States Navy, completing two tours of duty. He traveled the world during his service and often shared those stories with his friends and family. A gifted storyteller, Paul had a way of bringing people together through his words and laughter.
After his military service, Paul worked as a plumber for over twenty years in the Miami area. His work took him to countless projects, including new builds for Hard Rock Cafés, several hotels, numerous condominiums and locations frequented by celebrities.
Paul was also an avid motorcycle enthusiast who loved hitting the open road on his Harley. His adventurous spirit and zest for life made him unforgettable to everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his brothers, Philip Evans (Jessica) and Perry David; his sister, Peggy Young (Joe); nieces, Nanci Evans (fiancé, Jason Cox) and their daughter, Valerie Cox; Kaylee Crooks and her children, Grayson Swanson and Kenna Crooks; and Christian Shackleford. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles who loved him dearly.
Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Martha Hill; his mother, Nancy Evans; father, Sammy Evans; stepmother, Barbara Evans; and grandparents, Ramie "Buddy" Horner and Vera "VV" Horner.
Paul lived a full life, marked by love and laughter. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
All arrangements have been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
