Paul Trahan

Paul " Shorty" Leroy Trahan, 89, of Sulphur, LA passed away on September 16, 2024. Paul was born on November 1, 1934, in Welsh, LA Adam and Alice Trahan. Paul enjoyed the great outdoors fishing, hunting and camping. He was an auto mechanic and owned Shorty's Amoco Station. He enjoyed being self-employed and working on engines as a lifelong career.

Those left to cherish his memory are his 4 children, Reese, Richard, Adam, and Alvin; 20 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; 2 siblings, Henry Trahan, Ella Rose DeRouen; and 1 stepsister, Genevieve Mier.

Paul is preceded in death by, parents, Adam Trahan Sr. and Alice (Mallet) Trahan; loving wife of 49 years, Estella "Stella" O'Blanc Trahan; daughter, Virginia Marie Lore; siblings, Wallace Trahan, Sr., Laura Mae Foreman, Theresa Trahan, and John David Trahan; stepbrothers, Adam Trahan (Tooker) Allen Wayne Trahan; and one stepsister, Ruth Ann Schexneider.

Pall Bearers include Reese Trahan, Alvin Trahan, Todd Trahan, Bradi Trahan, Brad LeBlanc, and Danton Evans.

Honorary Pall Bearers, Sean Evans, Cody Trahan, and Paul Diamond.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday September 25th, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur, LA. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of services on Wednesday September 25th, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Burial will be at Hayes Cemetery.
