Peggy Ann Lapoint

Peggy Ann Comeaux LaPoint, 51, of Lake Charles passed away, Friday, July 26, 2013 in a local hospital.

She was a native of Jennings and lived most of her life in the Lake Charles area. Peggy was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-four years, Rodney J. LaPoint; two daughters, Melonie Rae LaPoint Barron and Lacey Danielle LaPoint; her parents, Bill and Frances (Arceneaux) Comeaux; two sisters, Billie Petty and Sharon Savoie. She is preceded in death by her son, Paul Joseph LaPoint and a sister, Stephanie Coon.

Her memorial service will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 28, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Dale Nazworth will officiate. Interment will be in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be from 11:00 AM until time of service, Sunday, in the funeral home.
