Peggy L. Brown

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Peggy L. Brown on December 10, 2016. Mrs. Brown was a resident of Lake Charles, LA. She passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Brown was a homemaker. She loved doing crafts and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Brown leaves behind to cherish her memories her children; Dewayne (Sue) Brown of Chico, CA, Richard Brown, Wade (Reeca) Brown, Karen (Tim) Stoutes, Viva (Joe) Hodges, Jr. all of Lake Charles, LA, Lloyd Brown of AL, Thomas (Cathy) Brown of Pine Bluff, AR.

She had 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren that she loved dearly.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, D.W. Brown (Dink); her parents, Jessie and Mable (Allen) Pierce; her grandson, Preston Stoutes, & her great granddaughter, Taylor Oliver.

Visitation begins Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home in Iowa from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. and will resume Wednesday from 8 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home.

Visitation will be in Fuller Hale – South Funeral Home of Pine Bluff, AR on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Rison, AR at 11:30 a.m. under the direction of Fuller Hale-South Funeral Home of Pine Bluff, AR. Local arrangements are being handled by Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa, LA.
