Peggy Ann David

Peggy Ann David, 88, of Sulphur passed away on September 24, 2025. She was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary. She also taught CCD at Our Lady of LaSalette. She worked as a hairdresser for many years and she loved to cook for friends and family.

Peggy is survived by her daughter Denise David; 4 grandchildren Justin Terro, Loren Simon and husband Tanner, Matthew David, and Devin Granger; 1 great grandchild Lane Granger; and 1 sister Carol Mires of Bridge City, Tx; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles “Ted” Bergeron and wife Marie Bergeron Duhon; her sister Alberta Romero and brothers Johnny Bergeron and Charles “Bully” Bergeron and Eddie Bergeron; and her son Brian David and grandson Jayson Hardin and granddaughter Samantha Pitre-David.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 11 A.M. at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father Ron Foshage officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 5-8 P.M. with a rosary at 6 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 9 A.M. at the funeral home until the time of leaving for the church.
