Peggy Lynn Burnett

Peggy Lynn Burnett, born December 8, 1954, has gone to her heavenly reward and is being welcomed by her parents, Ernest Charles Burnett and Leta Marie Matte Burnett, her sister Sue Aucoin and brother Jimmy Anthony Burnett, maternal grandparents, Albert and Maria Matte and paternal grandparents, Lander and Amet Burnett, all having gone before her. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Douglas Jeanis (Jennifer) of San Antonio, Texas, and daughter, Rani Jeanis Alfers of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kenneth Michael Jeanis of Iwakuni, Japan; Douglas James, Ian Lander, and Michaela Leigh Jeanis of San Antonio, Texas; and Carter Alfers of Dallas, Texas. Additional survivors are her brother Jerry Charles Burnett (Sheila) of Merrimack, New Hampshire; sisters, Jennifer Burnett Benoit of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Malinda Burnett Wilson (Jim) of Stephensville, Louisiana and Lester Aucoin of Patterson, Louisiana and Roberta Derby Burnett of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Left to their fond memories of their Aunt Peggy's special cookies and fudge are 11 nieces and nephews. She worshipped at Christ the King Chapel in Lake Charles. Memorial service for Ms. Burnett will be conducted 11 AM, Monday, June 29, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Family will receive friends from 9 AM till time of service.
