Peggy Manard Doucet, 79, of Sulphur passed away on July 17, 2017 in Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. She was a resident of Landmark Rehab Nursing Home for the last seven years. Peggy worked for Dave’s Drugs for 17 years as a clerk and delivered medicine to the sick. She was of the catholic faith and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Tammy Doucet; her grandson, Travis Mehoves and wife Ashley; her 3 grandchildren, Angela, Caleb, and Alaina Mehoves all of Sulphur; a special friend, Gerald Broussard of Moss Bluff; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Doucet; her parents, Tootsie and Carrie Manard; 3 brothers, Edward, Butch, and Rodney Manard; and sister, Linda Veronie.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 10A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paula Raley officiating. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 4-8 P.M. with a rosary at 6 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Saturday, July 22 at 8 A.M. until time of the service.
