Penny Parker

Penny Joan Parker, 63, of Ragley, Louisiana, passed away on August 21, 2025. She was born on September 26, 1961, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Howard and Leona Higginbotham.

Penny was a loving mother and grandmother. She adored her daughter, Leslie Riggs, and her grandson, Oliver Riggs. She also shared a special bond with her two cats.

Penny lived a simple life but one full of love, laughter, and care for those around her.

She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Riggs, and son-in-law, Clay Riggs; grandson, Oliver Riggs; sister, Theresa Roth; and brother, Bob Higginbotham.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Parker, and her parents, Howard and Leona Higginbotham.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
