Iowa – Percy Joseph Langley, 77, passed away in a Jennings care facility.
Percy was born in Kinder on November 18, 1939 to the late Fred and Elsie (Duplechin) Langley. He was a truck driver for many years and a member of Indian Village Pentecostal Church.
Survivors are his children, Anthony Lynn Langley of Moss Bluff, Sam Langley of Kinder, Percy “Joey” Joseph Langley, Jr. (Trish) of Jennings, Phillip Dwayne Langley of Kinder, Angela Theriot (Keith) of Kinder, Penny Miller (Terry) of Iowa, Von Miller of Iowa and Becky Langley of Kinder; brothers, Perry and Phillip Langley; mother of his children, Ollie Shuff; 15 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lorie Hardesty and brother, Preston Langley.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 8, 2017 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home at 10 a.m. with Rev. Terry Bushnell officiating. Burial will follow in Hebert Cemetery. Visitation is Friday in the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will resume on Saturday from 8 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m.
