Quentin Jay Miller Benton

Quentin Jay Miller Benton, 20, of Lake Charles passed away at 11:35 PM on Wednesday, August 2, 2017.

Quentin was born on February 20, 1997 in Lake Charles where he lived all of his life and attended Barbe High School. He had a giving personality with a big heart and never met a stranger. Quentin was very much loved and will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Devaney Miller Benton and Todd Benton both of Lake Charles; two brothers, Daven Benton of Lake Charles and Haydin Landry of Sulphur; maternal grandmother, Sandy Ardoin of Moss Bluff; paternal grandparents, Kathy and Mike Stewart of Lake Charles; maternal great grandparents, Rita Andrus of Lake Charles, Joyce “Blue eyes” Miller of Dequincy, and Jim Miller of Dequincy; and Godparents, Clay Miller of Dequincy and Wendi Conner of Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gina and Jay Miller and David Ardoin; paternal grandfather, Richard Benton; and Maternal great grandfather, Lynn Andrus.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 5, 2017 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until the start of the service.
