Racheal Nichole Poole, 35, passed away after a tragic accident on February 24, 2017.
Racheal went to Sam Houston High School and graduated from Ashworth University with an Associate’s Degree. She worked for the District Attorney’s Office here in Lake Charles for over twelve years before leaving to spend more time with her beloved family and become a Notary Public. Racheal loved to fish, raise chickens and rabbits, and to travel around on Harley Davidson motorcycles with her husband, Shannan. She is remembered as an outgoing, funny, intelligent lady that never met a stranger. Most of all she loved spending time with her children.
She is survived by her husband, Shannan Poole; two daughters, Britlyn Gauthreaux and Jaidyn Poole; son, Kaden Poole; father, Randy Blanchard and spouse Becky; mother, Bonnie Saucier and spouse Chris; three sisters, Heather LeMaire, Danielle Landry and Keisha Matt; three brothers, Josh Saucier, Blaine Blanchard and Scotty Fontenot; and the father of her child, Desi Gauthreaux.
Racheal is preceded in death by her grandparents, Wilton and Venice Louviere, and Wilfred and Merza Blanchard.
A funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home at 10AM on Thursday, March 2, 2017. Burial will follow at St. Edward’s Cemetery in Richard, LA. Pastor Andrew Martin will officiate. Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 3PM until 9PM on Wednesday, March 1st. Visitation will continue Thursday at the funeral home at 8AM until the start of the service.
