Lake Charles – Rachelle Abshire Babin, born July 30, 1979, daughter of Brian and Nina Chesson Abshire, passed away June 21, 2018, at the age of 38.
Rachelle attended LaGrange and was of the catholic faith. She loved her dogs and being with family.
She is survived by her husband, Shane Michael Babin; parents, Brian and Nina Chesson Abshire; children, Morgan Alydia Handy (Braxton), Tyler and Sarah Enix, Shane Michael Babin, II, Mia Riley Babin; brother, Joshua Cabe Abshire (Monica); granddaughter, Alydia Rain Handy; grandmother, Grace Abshire; nieces, Shelby and Kylie Browne, Isabella Abshire; aunt and uncles, Linda Reon, Phillip Abshire, Jr. (Maureen), Larry Bob Chesson and numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Dismas Mauk officiating. Burial will follow in LeBleu Cemetery in Fenton, LA. Visitation is Sunday from 4 p.m. – 9.p.m., with a rosary at 6 p.m. and will resume Monday from 8 a.m. until the time of service.
