Rakesh Patel, 57, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 2, 2026. He will be remembered for his kind heart, sweet nature, and ability to get along with just about anyone. He had a love for old Bollywood movies and music, enjoyed cooking, and especially cherished getting together with family for weddings and celebrations. He treasured the simple moments in life, whether spending time with family, watching football, or sharing a meal. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving father who was always there for his family. He leaves behind many cherished memories and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.A funeral for Rakesh will be Thursday, November 5, 2026 at Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles, at 11:00 AM. A prayer service will take place on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
